UN Security Council adopts resolution expanding sanctions on DPRK

The UN Security Council holds a conference at the UN headquarters to vote on the draft resolution on the nuclear test conducted by the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), in New York, June 12, 2009. The UN Security Council on Friday unanimously adopted a resolution condemning the recent nuclear test conducted by the DPRK and imposing new sanctions.
